Contemplative Care for Life & Death Transitions
Walk alongside a supportive guide on your path toward deeper self awareness, connection, and reverence for the mystery of life.
Upcoming Event:
Out of the Depths, A Contemplative Practice Series for Lent
6 Saturdays February 21-March 28th, 2026 / 10-11:30am ET
During this series we will make space to connect with the sacred role that suffering and surrender play in our lives, as we prepare to enter the season of rebirth: Spring and Eastertide. We will spend our time engaging with yoga asana, a practice of embodied awareness, lectio divina, a practice of reading and reflecting on a sacred text, and terra divina, a practice of witnessing the sacred in nature, before sitting quietly for meditation and prayer. My intention is that by the end of the 6 weeks, you'll have a deepened appreciation for and connection with Lent, and feel more anchored within your contemplative prayer practice as you move forward through your life.
Meet Elizabeth
Welcome! Elizabeth Stanger here. I love helping people navigate life and death transitions as journeys towards deeper self connection and reverence for the mystery of life. I weave my training as an herbalist, yoga instructor, end of life doula, Thai Yoga bodyworker, and willow casket weaver into many of my offerings. I encourage clients and students to value simplicity, implement changes at a slow and steady pace, and prioritize rest throughout their healing journey. I’m looking forward to a 2026 that’s filled with in-person group and 1-1 experiential learning, lots of books, and engaging with practices that keep us connected to what is greater than ourselves, and who we truly are. Aside from my private practice, you can find me teaching yoga or a monthly hands-on workshop at a local healing arts venue, or weaving a willow woven casket outdoors when the weather is nice for my other business, The Little Way Natural Caskets. Please explore my site for more information about my ongoing services and upcoming events. You can get in touch with me directly here. I hope to see you soon!
