Herbal Infused Oil Crafting Summer Workshop Series

With Herbalist Elizabeth Gross

At The Bridge: 93 Broadway Kingston, New York 12401

$150 for the series or $60 per workshop (all materials included)

This hands-on, experiential workshop series is an opportunity for you to learn how to make and use three of the most well known and celebrated herbal infused oils: Calendula oil, mugwort oil and herbal infused castor oil. Leave with a bottle of each oil at the end of the first three classes to work with as you grow your body oiling practice this summer!

Many people misunderstand how to make herbal oils, making them in ways that result in lackluster oil that is not as potent as it could be. By coming to this workshop series, you’ll learn how to make high quality herbal infused oils, as well as their therapeutic properties. You’ll learn my refined techniques for oil crafting as you spend ample time with bioregional medicinal herbs, including tips and suggestions that I’ve picked up over years of making my own oils and applying them effectively to clients, myself, and loved ones alike.

It’s the perfect time of the year to come together with others to craft herbal remedies with our local herbal bounty. Spending time with plants and making simple and effective remedies with our hands can be an incredibly grounding and healing experience. I’m truly looking forward to supporting you to stock your home apothecary with healing remedies during this workshop series.

Participant Review: “I would recommend taking Elizabeth’s workshops”

“I would recommend taking Elizabeth’s workshops because they would deeply benefit from the hands-on experience, rather than learning from a book or online video. Meeting new people who are also interested in learning these crafts can also help to foster communication once the workshop is over - creating a community you feel comfortable to ask questions in can help so much as you learn new things.”
